Leave it to Jan to make a stupid comment like that.

A man is dead and she makes it a political rallying cry.

Sick.

Really - I said it was bad all around - died cyclist, poor optics. Trying to ignore the "politics" is a deflective political strategy. I can understand why.

Jan, You're sick. Someone has died & all you can think of is bad press & bad optics - for the Libs? You are so obsessed with Lib bashing/tarring that you appear to have lost all compassion & feeling. This person has family, loved ones & friends. Your remarks make this person an incidental part of this tragedy rather than the main focus.

Also, you should know better than to tar all Libs with the same brush. I don't recall anyone doing that to the NDP when crap came out about some candidates in the last election causing them to step down.

You are a terrible representative for the NDP. You turn people off & away. Mr. Layton must be so proud of you - not.

The sculpture was initially met with controversy.[7] Before the Picasso sculpture, public sculptural artwork in Chicago was mainly of historical figures.[8] One derisive Chicago City Council alderman immediately proposed replacing it with a statue of Ernie Banks,[9] and Chicago publicist and science fiction writer Algis Budrys erected a giant pickle on the proposed site.[10] There was speculation on the subject, which ranged from a bird, or aardvark to Picasso's pet Afghan Hound, or a baboon head.[11]
